Dr.Doppler is an experimental hip-hop producer from the swamps of northern New Jersey. Taking funky, crunchy analog cues from the likes of Madlib and Tobacco, he spins offbeat jams from vinyl, VHS, and synthesizers. His first release with Void Collective was seeds*, out on CD and streaming on October 30, 2022.
In May 2023 Dr.Doppler follows up with an ambitious LP, flowers. Melding influences from classic hip-hop, jazz, and ‘60s/70s pychedelia, flowers* welcomes spring along with a cast of guests including rappers A-F-R-O, Brainorchestra, and ResoNate, R&B artist and film maker AC Peer, and Void Collective’s own Æther Transmission.
