Dr.Doppler is an experimental hip-hop producer from the swamps of northern New Jersey. Taking funky, crunchy analog cues from the likes of Madlib and Tobacco, he spins offbeat jams from vinyl, VHS, and synthesizers. His first outing with Void Collective was seeds* EP, released on CD and streaming October 30, 2022.
In May 2023 Dr.Doppler returns with a full length LP, flowers*. Melding influences from classic hip-hop, jazz, and ‘60s/70s psychedelia, flowers* welcomes spring along with a cast of guests including rappers A-F-R-O, Brainorchestra, and ResoNate, R&B artist and filmmaker AC Peer, and Void Collective’s own Æther Transmission.
